My name is Reshma Mahtani, and I joined Quistor in Málaga in September 2022 as part of the Academy. Since I started working in the real world this year, I have found it to be a rewarding experience. I enjoy gaining more experience, expanding my knowledge, facing new challenges, collaborating with different people, and learning something new every day. This continuous growth is important to me.

Now, let me share my recent experience with you. I had the opportunity to work with one of our customers and temporarily fill the role of the Functional Administrator. My main responsibility was managing their ticketing system, TopDesk. When I met the administrator, I realized that the communication would be in Dutch. This presented a great opportunity for me to improve my Dutch.

In this role, I handled tasks such as managing manufacturing, procurement, and security roles (such as creating new users). I was also invited to attend bi-weekly meetings with Willie and the customer's team for follow-ups. Additionally, I reviewed the health check report.

Before starting my work with the customer, I took several steps to prepare myself. Firstly, I created a checklist of questions and information that I needed to gather. I also familiarized myself with their JDE system, which includes numerous customized applications, reports, and pages. I had a call with my mentor, who provided valuable insights. To stay organized, I created a logbook to record all my activities related to tickets, meetings, responsible parties, and follow-ups. Lastly, I created a template for new tickets in our system.

Throughout this journey, I have learned the importance of teamwork and the willingness of my colleagues to support me and ensure my success. I am incredibly grateful to Daniel, Serge, Willie, Laura, Estevao, Yhisleym, and Ruben for their continuous support during this task.
