”Hi all, I am Junior Service Desk Consultant at Quistor. I joined the team a month ago and I am happy to celebrate it by writing about my onboarding experience and what it means to me.

I have been working within the IT sector for more than 8 years now using different technologies and was keen on joining a company that can help me grow and develop.

I appreciate the on-boarding process as I have felt included, supported, and part of the team, despite all working from home and not at the office. We’ve all had to adapt, but the communication is great and I am learning a lot. Many thanks to all my colleagues for their patience, as I ask a lot of questions :)

The work atmosphere is friendly and helps you concentrate even when working from home. Even so, I am looking forward to continuing my learning curfew in more normal times, where our collaboration will certainly grow stronger. Looking forward to meeting all of you in person one day.”

My first couple of months at Quistor have flown by! Obviously, with the COV-ID situation, everything is running a bit differently at the moment (don’t worry, I’m not going to bore you to death with all this virus talk), so I am still yet to experience working from the office in Malaga, something which I am looking forward to experiencing in the future – getting to meet the team in person at last. We should be good to go in a few months!

The service desk team has made me feel very welcome. What I like most about the team, is the teamwork demonstrated by everyone – everyone is always willing to help, willing to answer any questions, and in general, provide a very cooperative atmosphere. I have to thank my brother Jacob in particular, who was very patient with me while I got to grips with this new field of work, and also Stefan Huijbregts who has to put up with me more often than not on shift. I can see improvements every day, and wish to continue to advance progressively in the future.

I am enjoying working for Quistor and hopefully, I’ll be part of the team for years to come. Onwards and upwards.
