I still remember my first day at the Quistor office in Málaga in 2014, walking into a nearly empty space. Our training began alongside our Dutch colleagues, and it wasn’t long before I was working night shifts, rotating through early mornings and late afternoons, with weekends often filled with work. Those were intense days.

As time went on, managing the night shifts became increasingly challenging. I decided to take a break and explore something new, which led me to the Málaga airport. For two months, I guided airplanes, a unique and refreshing experience! Then, unexpectedly, Quistor’s HR team reached out to see how I was doing. Honestly? I was bored! We quickly made an agreement, and I returned to Quistor, ready for a new chapter.

This time, I shifted my focus to knowledge management, developing the Knowledge Centre, Training Centre, and Managed Services sites, while also improving our customer onboarding and offboarding processes.

By 2017–2018, I took on the role of Service Desk Manager. With the support of the team, we successfully implemented a “follow the sun” model, eliminating the need for overnight work, a big step forward.

Soon after, life presented a new challenge: I became a mother. It wasn’t an easy time, as I had to pause everything, even the simplest daily activities. But the team stood strong, ensuring business continuity and supporting one another through it all.

When I returned, I was eager for new challenges. I transitioned into the world of Projects, helping to shape the PMO department and leading exciting initiatives. Even as I moved away from Managed Services, I’ve continued to stay involved and support various clients.

Looking back, every challenge and transition has contributed to my growth, both professionally and personally. I’ve learnt, adapted, and evolved alongside a fantastic group of colleagues. So, what has working at Quistor been like? Dynamic, full of learning and transformation, and always fulfilling.
