Every third Monday of the month at 4pm CET, Quistor hosts the JD Edwards Talks. These sessions enrich the JD Edwards community by featuring special speakers who present various innovations. The JD Edwards Talks have become a hallmark of Quistor within the global JDE community, and we’ve built an amazing network, with our latest talk attracting 80 registrations.
JD Edwards Talks 1: Release 24
The series kicked off in January with a session on the new Release 24. Paolo Moroni, Oracle JD Edwards Product Director, was the guest speaker, focusing on the importance of staying updated with the latest features for applications and tools.
JD Edwards Talks 2: The Power of Orchestrations
In February, Mark Herwege, Senior Solution Engineer from Oracle, led the second session. He demonstrated the capabilities of Orchestrations in JD Edwards, showcasing how they can integrate with modern digital technologies, from Digital Assistants to Solution Advisors, and from Blockchain to Artificial Intelligence.
JD Edwards Talks 3: Enabling the Next Frontier of Business Innovation with Oracle AI/ML
In March, Paolo Borriello, Oracle Master Principal Solution Engineer, and Begoña Villamor, Quistor Manager of Business Analytics and Big Data, led a session on leveraging innovative tools like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning within the JD Edwards environment to revolutionise business operations.
JD Edwards Talks 4: The Global E-Invoicing Solution with JD Edwards Integrations
April’s session featured Cristina Andrade, Senior Account Executive from Pagero, and Victor Villalta, Manager of Consultant Projects from Quistor. They discussed global e-invoicing solutions and JD Edwards Integration, focusing on the challenges posed by new regulations, automation, and changing business requirements.
JD Edwards Talks 5: The Roadmap to Enterprise Automation
In May, following Blueprint 4D, AJ Schifano, Oracle JD Edwards Product Manager, explained how his team orchestrates Enterprise Automation, delivering new pre-built end-to-end JD Edwards business processes with each release update. This session included an overview and the latest announcements of 12 product enhancements on the road to Enterprise Automation.
JD Edwards Talks 6: Reimagine Your JD Edwards on OCI
Prashanth Thimmavajjala, a member of the JD Edwards Enterprise One Product Management team, detailed why Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is the best platform for running JD Edwards. He explored how a JD Edwards cloud migration can benefit organisations with new technologies like IoT, AI, blockchain, and automation.
JD Edwards Talks 7: Data Analytics Trends
In September, we explored the latest trends, tools, and insights in JD Edwards data analytics. Quistor expert John Cecil was joined by Reports Now experts Jerry Noble and Julie Borgerding to discuss the impact of real-time reporting on business decisions and how to leverage data visualization techniques for maximum effect.
JD Edwards Talks 8: Unpacking JD Edwards Sustainability Framework
Our most recent session focused on sustainability as a fundamental requirement for many organizations in their day-to-day activities. Experts Shruti Ghatage, Xavier Kurian, and Regi Antony uncovered the capabilities of the JD Edwards Sustainability Framework to meet these current sustainability requirements. This solution helps organizations record and manage environmental data accurately and efficiently.
These sessions are incredibly valuable for the community. We have had the privilege of working with these outstanding speakers over the past few months, from organising practice runs to assisting with their presentations.
