INFOCUS 2023 – Learning about all things JD Edwards
At INFOCUS 2023, we had a lot of learning, insight, and workshops. The JD Edwards development organization, support team, and Oracle partners shared a great deal about taking your business forward by utilizing the JD Edwards digital platform, adopting the cumulative value of JD Edwards applications, and how we are modernizing system administration.
We brought the teams behind our JD Edwards products to talk strategically about latest features and enhancements for EnterpriseOne Release 23 and our upcoming Release 24. Through hands-on-labs, live demos, and customer Q&A, we shared with our attendees the application enhancements that can strengthen and transform your business processes.
INFOCUS gave all of us a platform to hear from our customers themselves who are successfully driving innovation and business value through JD Edwards capabilities. During the three-day event, attendees met JD Edwards users from around the world and connected for the latest on features in the Digital Platform including Orchestrator, extensibility, system automation and more.
The INFOCUS conference provided access to 240 JD Edwards sessions, with 48 of these led by JD Edwards development and support. There were >450 attendees at JD Edwards Welcome and Roadmap session hosted by Paul Houtkooper, Vice President of JD Edwards Applications. The community gathered for 14 SIG sessions to discuss the future enhancements to EnterpriseOne 9.2 that would benefit their organizations. And there was ample opportunity to socialize at Quest Oracle Community and Oracle Partner events.

Oracle CloudWorld 2023 – Exploring how Cloud Transforms Businesses
Oracle CloudWorld was held in Las Vegas on September 18–21, 2023. CloudWorld is designed for all Oracle customers, including JD Edwards, as the destination to learn about all Oracle cloud solutions—including infrastructure, databases, and applications—from the people who build and use them. And the 2023 conference included a more expansive program for all Apps Unlimited customers and partners.
Those customers and partners who attended were inspired by keynotes, customer stories, and ideas from Oracle’s leaders. Everyone had the opportunity to learn how successful businesses of all sizes and across all industries use cloud technology and applications.
The strategic JD Edwards presentation was from customers who have modernized their applications through various cloud journeys by moving their JD Edwards workloads to Oracle Cloud. Each cloud approach illustrated tangible business benefits, including cost and risk reduction and improved reliability, security, and performance. These customers, CTB Inc., Equitrans Midstream Corporation, and Houlihan-Lokey selected the right cloud option for their organization, addressed change management, and achieved their business transformation goals.
