Quistor Get Together
Quistor is not only a customer-focused company but also an employee-focused one. Since l started working for Quistor as a junior marketer 8 months ago, l have been amazed at how Quistor works hard in making sure its employees have a comfortable working environment. A wide variety of employee-oriented events are organized during the year in the different offices around Europe, such as team-building activities, coffee breaks, cakes to celebrate successes and after-work events, among many others.
These events allowed us to reinforce our relations, not only at a professional but also a personal level, while we have fun in a more relaxed way. But in January 2020 Quistor wanted to go further with a bigger event altogether.
Because that’s one of the main values of Quistor, the power of together
The Quistor Get Together, as the event was called, was the perfect occasion to gather more than 100 “Quistorians” in Málaga (Spain) during 2 full days of team activities.
From my point of view, one of the highlights of the event was the chance to be able to meet each other and put a face to other colleagues we usually talk to over the phone or with whom we share e-mails.
As a company with offices in 10 European cities, the QGT event was a unique opportunity to gather most of our employees together in the same place at the same time. It was the perfect occasion to get more involved in the company's vision, being updated about goals and projects in our different departments and, of course, for team-building activities.
After these kinds of events, I think employees feel more included in the company and its values and as a direct result, this contributes to a positive and fruitful workplace culture and encourages the achievement of the organization's goal together.
In conclusion, we can say that internal corporate events clearly benefit both the individual employee and the wider organization; it improves the workplace environment, increases employee morale and creates a positive climate in the organization.
If we all know the goal, it will be easier to achieve it.
